ICT IN SRI LANKA

ICT in Sri Lanka is improving at rapid steps. This year, 2009 has been declared "Year Of English and ICT". The goverment has taken many steps to develop ICT in both urban and rural areas. Establishing "Nenasala" Centers in different parts of the country, Creating e-villages are two good steps to provide ICT education and fascities to the mass of the country.

Furthermore, the goverment schools are equiped with CLCs (Computer Learning Centers). In Zonal level CRCs(Computer Resouce Centers). At provincial level FITTech centers have been established.
